Spencer got stiches!

Spencer has been awesome in basketball this year. He played on a comp team as well as rec! At his last rec game, he got knocked down and hit his chin on the floor. There was a lot of blood but he finished the game and then got three stitches!

Ashley had an awesome 3rd grade program called "We are the Treasure". It was all about friendship. They all did a great job and I am so proud of her!

Ashley did a great job in basketball this year! I am so proud of her for sticking with it and having a positive attitude, even though she was the smallest girl on the team!

Brooklyn did a great job in her patriotic program! She even submitted a picture of her Uncle Van for the slideshow of our nation's heroes! We are so proud of you Brooklyn!

Happy Birthday Spencer (Feb. 7, 2013)

This year is a year for family birthday parties instead of friend parties. Spencer is so lucky to have so many little sisters that love him so much! We love you Spenc!

Spectrum

Spencer has been going to Spectrum at Burton Elem. this year for school. He has made some great friends. He invited them over one day after school to play snow football and I made them cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate! They were such cute boys!

Allen Family Christmas Party

This year the Allen Family Christmas party was at Uncle Terry and Aunt Nadine's home. It was after Christmas but we still did all of our regular Christmas traditions. We all gave an update on our families and then shared a story or talent. I love Uncle Terry's traditional Christmas story about the Bouler family!

Merry Christmas (December 25, 2012)

Merry Christmas! We had a wonderful Christmas! Santa brought plenty of presents and everyone was happy and grateful! I love my family and it is so fun the see the excitement in our kids faces when they wake up and see that Santa has come! We are grateful for the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ and for the opportunity that we get to celebrate that wonderful event!

Christmas Eve (December 24, 2012)

For Christmas Eve we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Hintze's house for a nice dinner and a program. Then we went home and the kids all opened their gifts to each other and we all got to open up a new pair of pj's! Those two events are two of our favorite family Christmas traditions!

Dance Recital (December 2012)

Annie and Audrey have been taking a tap and ballet class from Jenae Bingham. They absolutely love Jenae. Their dance was to "I Want a Hippopotomaus for Christmas". They were so darling. We are so glad that Grandma and Grandpa Hintze could come to watch them!

Competition Basketball (December 2012)

Spencer got invited to play on a competition basketball team. They practice once a week and then have two games a week. It is pretty busy but Spencer loves it. He is also really good at it and contributes a lot to his team. The name of their team is Krush! Spencer plays shooting guard or point guard.

Snow Horse Choir Christmas concert (December 2012)

Ashley got the opportunity to be in a choir at her school. They practiced for several weeks before and then gave a beautiful concert. Ashley even got to play the xylophone!

Michelle and Nate's Wedding (December 12, 2012)

Michelle and Nate's wedding was wonderful! They got married in the Salt Lake Temple and it was a beautiful day. My kids were so excited to see their Aunt Michelle come out of the temple in her wedding dress. She looked so beautiful. The reception was at the Chantilly Mansion in Layton. All of the granddaughters got to wear beautiful red dresses and they felt like princesses.

Fun with Cousins (December 2012)

We had the Hintze and Whatcott cousins come over for a fun FHE! We listened to the story of Jonathan Taylor Tooney and then decorated graham cracker cookies!

Christmas Lights at Temple Square (December 2012)

We had so much fun taking our kids to see the Christmas lights at Temple Square. We went with Grandma and Grandpa Hintze and with Chris and Amber's family. It was actually a pretty warm night so that made it even better!
